Yesterday PCSO Northover-Brewer hosted a Community Catch Up event at The Garden Cafe on Sitwell Street, Spondon, which gave members of the public an opportunity to speak about any issues within the community and obtain free crime prevention advice. Look out for further dates of where we'll be and when and come along to say hello and have a chat!!
PCSO Raven, PC Ripley and PC Adamson visited the Reception children at Beaufort Primary School and talked to them about the Role of the Police and how we help within our community, supporting their learning of their current school topic on 'Heroes in the Community'. They even got the opportunity to have a look at one of the police cars!
PCSO Raven and PCSO Northover-Brewer have been out and about on patrol again today checking on local hotspots across Chaddesden, Spondon and Oakwood areas, conducting CCTV enquiries for a number of ongoing investigations, and speaking to businesses about any issues they have.
This afternoon they spotted a wanted male, who after a quick foot chase, was swiftly arrested by PC Ripley and PC Adamson. The male was wanted for numerous offences including robbery and shoplifting.
